Hi everyone, my name is Alexis, and I’m starting this fundraiser to help my dad, Randy, as he fights to bring his kids, Abel (Boo Boo) and Laney (Sister Girl), back home to Texas where they belong.

On September 25th, Carlie suddenly left with the kids, taking Boo Boo out of school and fleeing to Alabama. On October 3rd, we filed for divorce in Texas because it was the only way we could legally start the process to bring the kids home under standing orders. Unfortunately, we didn’t have an address for Carlie and the kids, so we couldn’t send the certified notice.

Now, Carlie has hired an attorney in Alabama and filed for emergency jurisdiction, which means she’s trying to keep the kids there permanently — cutting off all contact with my dad. The last time we were able to talk to Boo Boo and Sister Girl, both said they wanted to come home.

My dad has always been an amazing father. He’s had his kids all the time — anyone who knows Randy knows how much he loves them and how devoted he is. It’s been 16 long days since he’s seen them, and it’s breaking his heart.

We’ve already spent $5,000 to retain a lawyer in Texas, and now we need another $4,000 to hire one in Alabama to keep fighting for custody and bring the kids home safely.
