Support Rancho Santa Marta-San Vicente, Ensenada

I LOVE Baja Mexico and so should you! Baja is a special place that is hard to describe without experiencing it in person. It can be brutally desolate and rugged one minute but beautiful and captivating the next. Baja is a place with a rich culture and history, but Baja is nothing without its people. Each year, during the last week of July, there is an offroad motorcycle ride that takes place called the "Baja Beach Bash" that is a fundraiser for Rancho Santa Marta.

Rancho Santa Marta (RSM) is a non-denominational Evangelical Christian Ministry that helps children with learning disabilities in Mexico by providing a home and school. RSM's Mission and Vision is to expand the reach of the Gospel in this region of Mexico by meeting the needs for these children-at-risk. RSM provides this primarily on their 450-acre ranch property near San Vicente, a town 130 miles south of San Diego on the Baja California peninsula. RSM's two foundational programs are a home for homeless, orphaned or abused children, and a kindergarten, elementary, junior high and high school with a special education mainstreaming program for children with learning disabilities.

This will be my second year on the ride and my goal this year is to raise $15,000 to help support Rancho Santa Marta and the at-risk children that depend on this special place. Donations will be used to build and maintain housing on site as well as pay for daily essentials (food, water, toiletries, etc). Please consider donating or spreading the word!

Love ya,
GK
