Hello, my name is Diane, and I am doing this GoFundMe request for a coworker and friend. Ranae was recently dismissed from her CNA position at a well-known hospice in Pueblo. The next day, she went to her doctor's appointment and received some bad news. She suddenly had to go to a cardiothoracic doctor. She was devastated. She was then sent up to UCH in Aurora, CO, for a second opinion. Unfortunately, the news was not good, and she was and still is devastated. The doctor informed her that she needed open-heart surgery due to her aortic valve and mitral valve needing to be replaced. She was given 1 year to live if she didn't have the surgery done. So, with that being said, her surgery is on Dec 18 in Denver. The amount of time she has to be there depends on how she is feeling.
She is a single female who lives alone with her cats, so I am trying to raise money for medical bills, her rent, phone, and whatever else may come her way. Per the doctor, it will take her 3 months minimum for recovery, and then the rest is unknown.
Reaching out to friends, family, coworkers, all medical professionals, nurses, CNAs, and anyone else with a giving heart, as she gave her heart to her patients and families. Any donations will be used on her rent, phone, and medical issues. Thank you all for helping her get through this difficult time.
