<div>Hello, my name is Diane, and I am doing this GoFundMe request for a coworker and friend. <strong>Ranae was recently dismissed from her CNA position at a well-known hospice in Pueblo.</strong> The next day, she went to her doctor's appointment and received some bad news. She suddenly had to go to a cardiothoracic doctor. She was devastated. She was then sent up to UCH in Aurora, CO, for a second opinion. Unfortunately, the news was not good, and she was and still is devastated. The doctor informed her that she needed open-heart surgery due to her aortic valve and mitral valve needing to be replaced. <strong>She was given 1 year to live if she didn't have the surgery done.</strong> So, with that being said, her surgery is on Dec 18 in Denver. The amount of time she has to be there depends on how she is feeling.

<div>She is a single female who lives alone with her cats, so I am trying to raise money for medical bills, her rent, phone, and whatever else may come her way. Per the doctor, it will take her 3 months minimum for recovery, and then the rest is unknown.
