As many of you know, I am fostering-to-adopt two BEAUTIFUL dorito-esque kittens!

I am currently in week 1ish of 3 of the foster period. We went the route of foster-to-adopt because one of the boys, Ramsey is a bit shy and reserved (like that kid that sits alone at lunch every day - but who if you listen really close during class has the funniest one liners under his breath!)

Unfortunately, a few days ago Ramsey took a HUGE tumble during brotherly zoomies and fractured his entire passenger side left leg. So, because he already tapped one of his nine lives in before even turning one, we need help getting him the medical attention he deserves! All funds will go directly towards IAR, which will funnel straight towards Ramseys’ immediate surgery and care.

IAR is getting all the professional opinions, and the options for recovery are either pins in the leg to reset with a long crate recovery, or amputation. Let's not be afraid of the A word - lots of animals lose limbs and sometimes it's the best option for the animals emotional and mental wellbeing. The loving folks at IAR and their team of doctors are going to make the best decision for Ramsey and his long term health. Please just know if you do decide to donate, there are options for procedure and the team will make the best choice depending on what they feel is best for the baby boy.

I CANNOT describe how incredible the small but hardworking team at IAR has been. Please note that most if not all of the folks at the rescue have their own lives - work their own job(s) and still find time to give back to animals in need.
