Support Ralph's Fight Against CAARI
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Phillip. On December 20th, 2024, my father Ralph was found not feeling or looking right. When he was brought home to me that same day at 12:01 am by a stranger, he was slurring his words and acting very strange. I tried to take him to the hospital myself, but he wouldn't cooperate with me. I could tell from that point on that he was not with it and couldn't follow what I was saying.
Soon enough, he was brought to Rhode Island Hospital by EMS, and they conducted a CT scan on his brain and found a dark spot on the left side of his brain. From there, to get more info, he had an MRI done, and we all discovered that he has a rare autoimmune condition called CAARI, a cognitive degenerative disease that causes brain bleeds along with other problems. It has been very, very hard on me and our family financially and emotionally. My father Ralph is the type of person to give his shirt off his back to help someone in need, and he is very well known to have a very gentle, kind, soft soul.
I myself am his only child, and the stress of dealing with this myself, only being 25 years old, has been very, very traumatic. Not only do I have to worry about his condition and if he will ever recognize me again because I don't know if he can. He is currently in the ICU and can't make out words or hold a conversation. On top of all of this stress being near the holidays, his birthday is also on the 30th of December. I really need blessings and all the help I can get in these difficult times. Any donations would be a miracle, and we hope that we can raise this money for the care of my father because it's unknown how his condition will play out.
I myself will be keeping constant updates on my father's condition here on this page, and I'm really praying every day, multiple times a day, for a miracle. I thank you immensely for your donations, and I'm eternally grateful.
All donations and funds will be going directly to my fathers care and bills just so you know what your donation would be going towards.
