This year for my birthday fundraiser, I am raising money for two amazing non-profits.

The first is the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum in Sugarcreek, Ohio, founded by the late Jerry and Laura Jacobson. This is home to the largest privately owned steam locomotive collection in the US and home to the locomotive that inspired the "Pleasant Valley Flyer" engine, McCloud River #9. This also is where I got my first official job involving tourist railroad/museum operations as a tour guide, social media coordinator, and cat caretaker to the world-famous Felix the Roundhouse cat.

The second is the Friends of the Coopersville and Marne Railway, the only tourist railroad near Grand Rapids, Michigan, for over 30 years and home of the film location for "Pleasant Valley Junction".

It is my goal to raise funds for each of these locations to use for various projects such as locomotive restoration, rolling stock maintenance, track work, etc. I will not be keeping a penny for myself, and all funds raised will be divided equally between both groups.
