- My daughter Raiesha Anderson was having a wonderful Easter Sunday with friends and family all day. Next day,Life took a turn April 20,2025 @5am. Raiesha began to experience unbelievable stomach pains and was sent by ambulance to the emergency room. The same day an internal hernia condition was discovered and later transferred to another hospital for emergency surgery. Upon this surgery, Raiesha continued with pains and small intestinal blockage was the cause. An emergency second surgery was performed where Raiesha almost coded blue . The doctors called me immediately to provide the update of the worrisome moment in the surgery. After this surgery Raiesha was placed on the ventilator for another emergency surgery for the small intestines. My daughter endured 3 emergency surgeries in 24-36hrs and placed on the ventilator for 3 days in ICU. Spending 10 days in the hospital , Raiesha, a single mother of 3 has a road to recovery with many challenges in caring for herself and children.
