My name is Raiden Brown, and I’m on a mission to make history at Idaho State University.

I’m in the process of reviving a historically Black organization that has been dormant for over 20 years. This organization represents culture, unity, leadership, and service — and bringing it back to campus will mark a huge milestone for ISU and the surrounding community.

By reestablishing this organization, I want to create a space for Black culture and excellence to thrive here in Idaho — something our campus has been missing for far too long. This group will not only uplift Black students, but also serve the greater Pocatello community through events, outreach programs, and volunteer work. From helping local kids to passing out Thanksgiving turkeys, hosting school events, and building bridges across communities, we plan to make a real impact.

I’m asking for your support to help me cover my membership fees and fund the startup costs needed to bring this organization back to life — things like event materials, outreach programs, and community service projects. Every dollar will help us move one step closer to restoring something meaningful and powerful at ISU.

This isn’t just about me — it’s about reviving history, inspiring the next generation, and making sure that Black culture continues to have a voice on our campus.
