Dear neighbors and friends,

We are reaching out today to ask for your support and compassion for one of our own. Many of you know Rafael, our dedicated custodian who has cared for our community with a smile for so long. If you have noticed his absence lately, it is because he is facing an unimaginable hard time right now. Rafael’s beloved wife recently passed away. Beyond the heartbreak of losing his partner, Rafael is now the sole provider for their five children. He is still hurting and says he doesn't know what he’s going to do.

None of us can truly know the exact weight of what he is carrying or going through, but we can rally as a caring community and ensure he doesn’t have to carry it alone. Let's help to be a support system for Rafael and his five children.
