Support Quinn's Move to Safe Housing
Donation protected
We're raising money for a local trans-fem Quinn Oom and her daughter to get out of a rough and unsafe living situation.
Quinn and her daughter moved in with a significant other a few years back and recently things have gone from sour to unhealthy. Quinn's mental health is suffering and she is having increasing stress-induced seizures in the home. Quinn can't drive and the current home is far from any bus stops.
If unable to get out of this situation Quinn may have to move in with family in Muskegon. This would require her to leave her daughter behind (with no way to transport her). All of her specialist doctors are here at U of M. And Muskegon is not safe for trans women. She would also be interacting with hostile family members regularly.
Quinn is seeking help with moving costs so they can have housing security. Quinn is on long-term disability and she has the monthly money to pay rent, but not to move on her fixed income.
Quinn will be using this money to move into a two bedroom place and the costs associated such as security deposit ($995), moving truck ($200), admin fees ($800), and things like DTE deposit, pet fee, and packing materials. We know this is expensive; she has very poor credit.
Please consider donating to Quinn and her daughter.
