I’m a friend of Jessica’s and someone who was so moved by what their family did in taking Quincy in off the streets. After their last cat Stormy passed so recently, Quincy seemed to have been sent to them by Stormy as he knew Quincy would get all the love and healing possible. Turns out, John Quincy Cattums needed some serious SERIOUS surgery to heal what had been broken in body as his new family healed what was needed in spirit. Anything you can donate would definitely help, such a big undertaking to save a baby out of the cold.
From Jessica’s Facebook update: John Quincy Cattums is currently at Friendship Hosptial for Animals, where he is recovering from major surgery to repair a diaphragmatic hernia — which either happened because of a badly-healed injury he sustained whilst living in the suburban wild, or a birth defect. He’s also been snipped.
The vet says he’s making good progress in his recovery so far. They also report that they love him — and us, for having saved this furry baby’s life.
Send some love to our boy
