Support Quincy Event: Permit & Insurance Help

Hello, my name's Allison. I'm helping put together an event in Quincy Illinois with my friend Kayleigh, along with a large number of also very important and appreciated community members and supporters.

The goal of this event is to promote a healthy and informed community and strengthen the grassroots bonds and mutual aid networks in our community.

It is Saturday, May 17, 2025,

in Washington Park, 125 N 5th St., Quincy IL, 62301

from 12pm (noon) to 3pm CDT.

We have been granted a special event permit for this event and purchased a certificate of liability insurance, which together brings the immediate out-of-pocket expense to us personally to $200.

We are asking for community support to help us with these costs,

as we're really just not in any financial situation to be footing expenditures like this on our own (if it comes down to it, that IS what will happen, but we'd prefer to have help).

So $200 is the goal, to cover the permit fee and the insurance.
