Who we are!

Professional Trainers Advancing Humanity Inc (PTAH) is an up-and-coming non-profit organization, established in 2015 by partners, President Paul “Coach Ptah” Bowen and Vice President Danielle DuVerney. We created this program because of our concerns and desire to uniquely equip children with valuable knowledge that will allow them to make informed decisions on matters concerning their health, education, finances, and their futures (i.e., their brand). Through employment and volunteer work, we have the pleasure of working with children of all ages. Our first-hand experience has given us insight into what many children need to help them succeed. The purpose of PTAH Initiative is to provide a complete and unique experience where children will gain the educational and tactical skills they need to make informed decisions in their careers and throughout their lives.

What we do!

​Ptah Initiative’s main objective is to focus on the empowerment and education of self-awareness for our youth, particularly in the areas of sports and entertainment business. Our education curriculum includes but is not limited to the eighteen units incorporated into nine modules broken down into three main categories: Knowing, Thinking, and Doing. Our program rebuilds the minds of the youth, which in turn gives them a different aspect of life. We are restoring communities with youth that possess character, respect for themselves and others, honor, and integrity. The hands-on classes, availability of knowledgeable professionals, and accessible information will help produce productive members in their communities, thus awakening the true giant inside. Community events and resources are another large focus of our organization as we know that the youth need a trusted and secure environment to thrive. Annually, we offer food, school supplies, and toys for those in need, in addition to holding community holiday parties, trunk or treat, and family game nights for all to participate in. Young Entrepreneurs Soaring (Y.E.S.), Self Defense and Violence Prevention ​Boxing, Re-Cue Video, Film and the Arts, Handy Hands Build and Repair, Strategies of Life Youth Chess, Music and Movement, The Art Lab, Drumming, Drill Team, and You Never Asked are just a few of the many youth programs we offer out of our Woodbury, New Jersey location. Why we need your support, today!

Our nonprofit has been a safe space for youth and their families; providing programming, mentorship, education, job preparation, community events, and resources. Unfortunately, now, we are at risk of closing our doors and need your support to be able to continue services within the community we serve. Our program offerings have continued to grow, and we see even more need for ongoing support with all of the changes in our world. The donations made toward this cause will go to the operations budget to be able to support our building and ensure we can continue our efforts toward our mission.
