We are a group of 8th-grade students in Alameda dedicated to tackling hygiene poverty in our community. Through Project Laundry 2026, we are raising funds to provide essential laundry and hygiene kits to low-income students and local homeless shelters.

The Challenge:

Many students and families struggle with the high costs of laundry supplies and laundromat fees. Without clean clothes, students often face embarrassment or miss school entirely, affecting their confidence and education.
