Pearl River Little League is a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization which provides a place for young boys and girls (ages 5-12) to learn the sports of baseball and softball. It provides a safe, supportive environment for these youth to learn the lessons the sports hold while gaining confidence and having fun. They also provide employment opportunities for young folks from 13-18 to work as grounds crew or umpires, earning spare cash while learning responsibility and how to deal with employers. I played baseball in this league and worked several years (still do) as a youth umpire, so I believe it is appropriate for me to complete my service project here. Unfortunately, over time, things wear down and need to be replaced. The shingles on the dugouts of the Keizer Memorial Field need replacing, along with the door of the storage shed. Please help support me in the replacement of these important areas.
