On a fateful Wednesday, June 12th, 2024, the Morales family faced devastating events that forever altered their lives. Alexus received a heart-wrenching call from the daycare provider, informing her of severe injuries to her precious two-year-old daughter, Princess, and claimed ignorance of the cause of the injuries. Alexus rushed to her daughter's side without hesitation, leaving everything behind. The sight of Princess in pain was unbearable as they raced to the hospital, necessitating a desperate call to 911 amid Princess's cries prompting an immediate transport via ambulance.

At the emergency room, the extent of Princess's injuries became shockingly clear—2nd and 3rd-degree burns, necessitating immediate and intensive medical care. Days later, further examinations revealed even more extensive damage, requiring Princess to undergo painful treatments and a prolonged hospital stay. The journey to recovery has since been fraught with daily physical therapy, wound care, and ongoing medical visits, demanding immense strength from Princess and her family.

Amidst this whirlwind, Alexus has had to navigate the difficult decision of putting her career and education on hold to ensure Princess receives the care she urgently needs. The financial implications have been overwhelming, compounded by mounting medical bills and the strain of daily expenses. This unforeseen crisis has tested them physically, mentally, and emotionally.
