I am Preston and Summer Johnson’s Uncle Teddy. Their father, my sister's ex-husband, murdered his girlfriend of nearly 4 years on New Year’s Eve.

Help me give these kids Hope and a future they deserve. 

The money raised will be used to pay for the lawyer fees that have been building during the past 6 months that my sister has been fighting for her children’s safety. They have been in and out of court since his behavior became more erratic and scary in June. This fund will also go towards counseling and trauma therapy, bills, child support, activities for the kids, and future education as their father will spend the rest of his life behind bars. Any help would be deeply appreciated. My sister Christina is doing her best as a massage therapist, but needs to take some time to gather around these kids at this time and is already struggling financially due to added hardships. I want to help take this financial burden from her so she can heal and know she is supported and loved, and not alone.

There is no help or financial support when a child’s parent commits murder, and these precious kids losing a dad in such a horrifying way shouldn’t be punished. Any amount of money will help as their father is in jail awaiting his trial for the brutal murder of his girlfriend Summer Roney, who was deeply beloved by my niece and nephew. They will need any and all support they can receive to cope with this senseless and profound loss.
