In Loving Memory of His Dad – Support for Noah’s Future

Update 6/26/2025:

It’s with a heavy heart that I share that Noah’s dad is not going to recover. He fought with everything he had, and the doctors did all they could. We’ll be saying our final goodbyes soon.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the love, support, and kindness you’ve shown during this time. Your support means more than words can express. It has helped us feel less alone in the hardest moment of our lives.

Noah is a strong, caring, and brave 9-year-old who deserves a bright and supported future. Thank you for standing with him as he begins to navigate life without his dad.

Noah has always been the greatest blessing in my life. Since the moment he arrived, he’s been my reason, my joy, and the light that keeps me moving forward. Every day, I show up for him with everything I have—because he deserves a beautiful, safe, happy life.

But right now, his days feel different. This Wednesday, my son will turn 9 without his dad by his side.

On May 12, Noah’s dad suffered a medical emergency and since then he’s been on life support in a coma, fighting for his life. And while we continue to hold on to hope, today is another day of uncertainty. Another day where Noah can’t hear his dad’s silly jokes, share a laugh with him or feel his big bear hugs. It’s another day Noah won’t have his dad on the sidelines cheering him on at baseball or simply hear him sing “Happy Birthday” and tell his son “I love you buddy.”

No child should have to carry the kind of pain Noah is carrying. Today, a part of his heart is missing.

Noah and his dad share a bond that runs deep – one of laughter, love, and an unbreakable connection between a father and son. His dad has always been there: his best friend, his buddy, his constant.

And while we pray for his dad’s healing and recovery – something that means more to us than anything in the world – I’m also asking for something else today:

Please, keep Noah in your prayers as you would your own child.

Pray for his strength, his heart, and his future.

Pray for his dad’s healing and the day they can be reunited.

As you can imagine, in addition to the emotional trauma, a situation like this also adds financial strain to a family, affecting work schedules, causing unanticipated expenses, etc.

If you feel moved to do so, please consider sharing this or donating to support Noah. Although I can’t give my son the only thing he truly wants right now, my hope is to give him a future that brings him joy and moments of light – even in the midst of this darkness – and to help ensure his future stays as bright as his heart.

All donations will go directly toward supporting Noah during this incredibly difficult time. Funds will help provide essentials like clothing, meals, and snacks, along with activities that support his emotional healing, such as therapy, books, and creative outlets. They will also allow him to stay involved in the sports he loves by covering registration fees and gear, and help create moments of joy through fun experiences, day trips, mental health days, and opportunities to just be a kid. Your support means everything as we work to give Noah comfort, stability, and hope for brighter days ahead.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love, support, and prayers as we navigate this incredibly difficult chapter.
