Support Praveen's Family After Tragic Loss

It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of our dear friend, Praveen Kumar Tapsi, who lost his life in a swimming pool accident on August 23, 2024. Praveen, a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, had moved to the USA a few years ago and was working as a high school teacher in one of the schools in Albuquerque. Praveen is survived by his wife (Santhi Gujjarlamudi) and aging parents. Praveen was the sole breadwinner of the family. His wife is a homemaker and is on a dependent visa. In response to their hardship, we have established this GoFundMe page.

Praveen was kind, always emanating warmth and affection towards everyone he met. His enduring grace and radiant smile have etched lasting impressions on all who knew him. Especially among the hundreds of school kids he taught across many schools worldwide during his professional journey. We have known Praveen since childhood and grew up together in a small village. His intelligence, combined with perseverance, made him dream big. He crossed country boundaries from a small village to make a good living in the USA. He helped family and friends all along. As we collectively mourn the loss of such a remarkable individual, we understand that his absence leaves a profound void in the lives of his loved ones.

Praveen's family is now faced with the sudden and unexpected responsibility of funeral and repatriation expenses. We humbly appeal for your support in light of this tragic turn of events. Any funds raised will go directly towards mitigating these financial obligations and providing some relief to his family during this heartbreaking time.
