Support Prasad Vuppu's Family

Hello, my name is Deeptya Vuppu, and I have set up this fundraising account for my father, Prasad Vuppu (48 years). Almost 2 years ago, he was diagnosed with Invasive PNET (Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor) Stage 4 Cancer, and we lost him on July 16th.

He had always been the strength of our family – strong, compassionate, and full of life. He was the breadwinner of our family, a devoted husband to my mother, Hema, and an amazing dad to a seventeen-year-old daughter, Deeptya, and my brother nine-year-old, Avi.

Since his diagnosis in October 2022, he had been on a long, hard path in high hopes of recovery. He underwent multiple forms of treatment, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and even a clinical trial, but none effectively rid his tumor; instead, they worsened his condition. At our most recent oncologist appointment, we were informed that there were no more treatment options for him, and we can't believe that he is no longer with us.

The medical bills are mounting, and despite the incredible care he received, the costs of his medical care, rehabilitation, and previous therapies are overwhelming. I am (Deeptya), going to college beginning this upcoming August, and my brother has a long path to complete his education. That's why I am reaching out to our friends, community, and kind-hearted people for help. Your generosity can make a profound difference in our life – helping in this difficult time.
