We are a small group of Powderhorn neighbors, and we have created this fund to administer direct financial support to meet the urgent needs of families in crisis as a result of being targeted by the current federal immigration enforcement activities in our community. Powderhorn is a community like no other. We are asking for your generous donations to help keep families in their homes this winter by directly supporting their rent and utilities expenses. Many individuals have not been able to work because it has become unsafe for them to leave their homes for fear of being detained.

For the sake of privacy and safety, these families must remain anonymous. We are connected with multiple specific families and these funds will go directly to supporting their needs.

We take care of each other, we keep each other safe, and we do so with love at the forefront.

We believe that hyper-local action is a powerful way to support those in need right now, and we are starting right where we live. Many of our friends, family members, and extended community members have been seeing what Minneapolis is experiencing and feeling helpless. You are not helpless.
