I love my Mommy, Janice Marie Simmons.
If you have seen her name online you might know her by her screen name and email Jayweemom. She picked that because her nickname for me growing up was Jaywee which is short for James Willie. She also always called me Pow short for Power because she said I used my man power to help carry heavy groceries up three floors of stairs growing up.
I will be in Georgia for her celebration of life service to honor her.
I asked for help to get there because grieving is hard enough and the timing was a lot to handle. I had some essential and urgent expenses pop up at home all at the same time on top of the travel costs to go to Georgia. It made it really difficult to manage everything financially while trying to focus on my mental health and my kids.
I appreciate it more than words can say that you helped me get to Georgia to honor my mom. Your prayers and support truly mean the world to me while I continue to treasure the memories of someone I love and loves me more than anyone on Earth ever can.
