Policy rewired is a nonprofit organization committed to bridging the gap in policy education, empowering migrant communities by educating them on the policies and systemic issues that shape their lives—often without their awareness.
Funds from this campaign will go directly towards funding initiatives that uplift and empower migrant voices. In specific, funds will support bi-monthly initiatives that empower migrant voices by hosting workshops on systemic community issues and enabling participants to drive change through competitions (essay writing, simulations, hackathons) with cash prizes. Our organization plans to take migrant empowerment one step further than our past by assisting in publishing student work in journals and developing internships with local officials to ensure real impact. Past efforts include the Rules You Don't See Essay Competition, national advocacy workshops, and scholarships for underprivileged migrant children.
