I've walked a mile in their shoes.... Now I am going to run/walk a marathon to support Pockets of Hope and their cause throughout the month of September.

Pockets of Hope, an international nonprofit (501c3 under fiscal sponsorship), is dedicated to empowering women recovering from mastectomy surgery by providing them with specially designed zip-up sweatshirts that feature sewn-in pockets, offering comfort, practicality, and a reminder that they are not alone on their journey to recovery.

MY GOAL: $8,619 will cover the cost of every woman on the waiting list to receive their mastectomy recovery hoodie.

I will share my miles and progress throughout the entire month of September and donate all funds to Pockets of Hope on October 1st, just in time for their Annual Fundraiser.
