Help Keep Our Dance Studio Open & Growing for Our Girls

We don’t usually ask for help, but right now, we truly need our community to rally around us.

We’ve proudly run Platinum Divaz Dance Co for 12 amazing years and have had our studio for 5 of those years, pushing through every challenge—including the height of COVID—and staying afloat even in the toughest moments. That in itself has been a huge achievement. But today, we’re facing financial strain that we can no longer overcome on our own.

Due to a combination of emergency repairs, large bills during the holidays, and lower enrollment, we’ve fallen behind on our studio costs. Many of our parents have also faced financial hardships and couldn’t keep up with dues—and we simply didn’t have the heart to turn any child away. Our program helps so many kids, and we believe every child deserves a safe, creative space, no matter their circumstances.

We’ve been covering what we can out of pocket, but it’s no longer sustainable. We’re doing everything we can to keep our girls in their dance home—and now we’re asking for your help to do just that.

It’s not easy to ask for help. We’ve been afraid to reach out because we fear judgment or feeling like we’ve failed. But the truth is, sometimes you have to swallow your pride and lean on the people who believe in your mission. That’s why we’re turning to our community, our friends, and our extended dance family—with open hearts.

Platinum Divaz isn’t just a dance studio. It’s a second home. A sanctuary. A place where our girls build confidence, create friendships, and grow stronger inside and out. We are determined to keep this space alive—and improve it even more for the future.

We’re hoping to raise $20,000 to:

Catch up on past-due rent and studio costs

Build a small reserve for sustainability

Support dancers with gear and essentials

Invest in important studio upgrades, including:

New floors

Mirrors

Tumbling mats

An air conditioner for the back rooms (it gets very hot during the summer)
