About this project
Petaluma Dog Park Project is a grassroots group of residents working to create a safe, dedicated dog park for Petaluma dogs and their people. Right now, the project is at an important early stage. Before the larger fundraising effort to build the park can move forward, Petaluma Dog Park Project needs initial seed funding to secure formal fiscal sponsorship. This is a critical step because fiscal sponsorship will allow the project to become eligible for grants and accept tax-deductible donations, helping turn this community vision into something real and lasting. At the heart of this effort is a simple vision: Where dogs run and community grows.

The funds raised through this fundraiser will help cover the early operating costs that make the project possible, including insurance, the website, and an environmental assessment of the land planned for the dog park. Petaluma Dog Park Project is asking the community to come together and help with this next step. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help build the foundation for a safe dog park with the features Petaluma needs and currently does not have. If you believe in creating a safe space for local dogs and the people who love them, please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser to help Petaluma Dog Park Project move forward.
