Help with Peggy's cancer Battle.

My name is Heather and my mom's name is Peggy Pettyjohn. She is fighting stage 4 tongue and throat cancer. She has to have most of her tongue removed and lymph nodes removed from her neck.

We are trying to raise money to help with the cost of lodging needs for her and I to be able to stay 10 weeks for her to undergo a 14-hour surgery, 3 weeks post-op care in Iowa City and 7 weeks of intense radiation which is 5 days a week. She has been in and out of the hospital several times since diagnosis and is unable to work. I have had to use all my vacation and have had to request time off without pay to care for her.
