The Preston Paignton Community Defibrillator Project (PCDP)

Hi All,

When we started this fundraiser in 2018, we had no idea it would go like it has, we now have 50 Emergency Public Access Defibrillators in the Bay area. Most weekends are spent with either Jan or I (normally both of us) checking, maintaining, training, servicing or repairing unit around the Bay area, now we need your help more than ever before. THE PCDP NEEDS YOU. Not only do we need funds to replace pads and battery's some of the older cabinets also now need to be replaced, we need at least 10 cabinets over the next two year, I know this is a BIG ask as some of you have help us before but together, we can do it. the units have been allocated to over 350 call outs for the Ambulance Service, to be with people in their time of need. The units are allocated to incidents most time because the Ambulance Service can't attend straight away, but 17 of the call out have been to Cardiac Arrests and the public, people like YOU have used the units and have successfully saved 15 of the which is outstanding number.
