Hi

My name is Brad and i am looking for help for my dog Paulie. Paulie is a kill list survivor. He is my 3.5 yr old Staffordshire. I rescued him from a South Carolina shelter. He is a sweet dog and i feel so bad for him ......Although being tested negative for heartworm at the shelter, He has been tested positive with two tests just recently. It is believed by my Vet that he is likely to have been tested a false negative by the shelter, No fault to them as it can take up to 6 months to foster. I had him on a preventative so that is why my Vet feels the initial test was false negative.

The heartworm removal process is lengthy ,Tedious and painful which is why i am devastated to have to see Paulie endure it....But it must be done because it can mean an early death if not treated and i cannot bear the thought of losing him. He means everything to me. I live alone and he is support for me........ It is also costly and i was not prepared financially for this health risk. The estimate is approximately 3K dollars . Anything you can contribute would be appreciated beyond words. He really is my world.

He is being treated by Countryside Animal Hospital in Hudson NH. I will be receiving form estimates very soon and i will post them in the appeal. Please help!
