On May 5th, 2026, North Figueroa Animal Hospital experienced a devastating break-in between midnight and 4am. The perpetrators stole all of the clinic’s security cameras and computers, and vandalized the facility, leaving behind significant damage. This event has been a major setback for a business that has never faced anything like this in its 45 years of serving Northeast Los Angeles.
<br>
<br>
 North Figueroa Animal Hospital, led by Dr. Joey Vasquez and his dedicated staff, has been a cornerstone of affordable veterinary care for the community. For the past 14 years, they have provided high-volume spay/neuter services for Humane World for Animal’s Pets for Life program, as well as for the Latino Alliance for Animal Care Foundation (LAACF). They are also a contracted veterinarian for the City of Los Angeles’ free spay/neuter voucher program. As a recognized Legacy Business, their commitment to helping animals and families in need has touched countless lives.
<br>
<br>
 The funds raised will go directly toward repairing the clinic’s doors, replacing stolen computers and security cameras, and addressing all damages caused by the break-in. By coming together to support Dr. Joey and his staff, we can help them recover from this senseless act and ensure they can continue their vital work. Any support you can offer—whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser—will make a real difference for Dr. Joey and everyone at North Figueroa Animal Hospital.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Hot Girls Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to giving forgotten dogs a second chance. Every day, we're on the front lines rescuing dogs from overcrowded shelters, pulling dogs off euthanasia lists, providing lifesaving medical care, and helping them find the loving homes they deserve.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>But our mission doesn't stop there.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We're building a safe place where dogs can heal while they wait for their forever families. <strong>Donations help us build and maintain kennels, provide food, enrichment, training, transportation, emergency veterinary care, and everything in between.</strong> Every dollar goes directly toward giving these animals the opportunity they deserve.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We also believe caring extends beyond animals. Through community outreach, including supporting people experiencing homelessness with pet supplies and resources, we're committed to keeping pets and the people who love them together whenever possible.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>The reality is that rescue is expensive, unpredictable, and urgent.</strong> One emergency surgery, one large shelter pull, or one litter of abandoned puppies can change everything overnight. Your support allows us to say "yes" when a dog has nowhere else to go.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>When you donate to Hot Girls Care Foundation, you're helping:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Rescue dogs facing euthanasia.

</div>

<div>Provide emergency and ongoing medical care.

</div>

<div>Build and improve safe kennel spaces.

</div>

<div>Feed, train, and rehabilitate rescued dogs.

</div>

<div>Transport dogs to foster and adoptive homes.

</div>

<div>Support outreach efforts for pet owners in underserved communities, including Skid Row.

</div>

<div>Create a future where more dogs leave shelters alive.

</div>

</div>

<div>Every donation, no matter the size, helps save lives.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for believing that caring matters—and for helping us prove that compassion can change the world, one dog at a time.

<div>Hi, I’m Jade Gonzalez, and I’m raising funds on behalf of Miller’s Legacy Dog Rescue and Rehab Inc. for a dog who has completely captured my heart: Kraven.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kraven’s story is incredibly difficult to tell, but after everything this dog has survived, I believe he deserves to have it told.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kraven came into the shelter with an injury that would eventually become impossible to ignore. His jaw was broken and visibly crooked. We later learned the devastating cause. Kraven had been shot.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A bullet had caused significant damage to his jaw, leaving him living with an injury that will now require major reconstructive surgery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And somehow, through all of that, Kraven remained one of the sweetest dogs I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I met Kraven as a shelter volunteer. I spend time with a lot of dogs, and I love a lot of dogs, but every once in a while there is one who just gets you. Kraven was that dog for me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He wasn’t defined by what had happened to him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He was affectionate. Gentle. Goofy. Incredibly cuddly. He loved being close to people and would happily soak up every ounce of affection you were willing to give him. He knew “sit” and “paw,” walked nicely on leash, and somehow continued to trust people despite having every reason not to.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His jaw told the story of what someone had done to him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His personality told a completely different story about who he was.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As Kraven’s time at the shelter continued, his situation became increasingly urgent. His medical needs were significant, and eventually we learned that getting him out would not be simple. Because of the condition of his jaw, an adopter would need to sign a medical waiver accepting responsibility for his care, or a rescue would need to step forward with a committed placement.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On top of the damage from the gunshot wound, Kraven is also heartworm positive and will need heartworm treatment as part of his recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It felt like obstacle after obstacle was being placed in front of a dog who had already endured far too much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As his deadline approached, I spent what I feared could be one of Kraven’s last afternoons sitting with him outside.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We soaked up the sun. We snuggled. He ate cheese. I tried to give him a few hours where absolutely nothing was expected of him except to be a dog who was loved.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I remember thinking that I wanted so much better for him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So I kept asking.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I posted his story. I made videos. I messaged people. I tagged rescues. I asked strangers to share him. I asked people to pledge toward his care. I reached out anywhere I thought there might be even the smallest possibility of someone saying yes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I knew what we were asking was enormous.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Saving Kraven didn't simply mean finding someone willing to take home a sweet dog. It meant finding people willing to take responsibility for a dog facing major medical treatment and an uncertain road to recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But people started showing up.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>One share became another. Messages poured in. People who had never met Kraven pledged money toward his care. Volunteers and advocates worked behind the scenes. An incredible person stepped forward to help care for him through his recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And then Miller’s Legacy Dog Rescue and Rehab Inc. said yes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kraven was officially rescued.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That moment meant everything, but rescue was only the beginning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now we have to help put this boy back together.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kraven will need extensive veterinary care, including reconstruction of the jaw damaged by the gunshot wound. He will also need treatment for heartworm disease, along with the veterinary care, medications, monitoring, follow-up appointments, and recovery support that come with taking on a medically complex dog.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is going to be a significant undertaking for Miller’s Legacy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But Kraven finally has something he desperately needed: people in his corner.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He survived being shot.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He survived living with a broken jaw.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He survived the shelter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He made it through his deadline.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And through every bit of it, he remained unbelievably loving.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now I want the rest of Kraven’s story to be about healing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation to this fundraiser will help Miller’s Legacy Dog Rescue and Rehab Inc. provide the medical care Kraven needs as he begins this next chapter. Whether you can give $5, $25, $100, or simply share his story, you are becoming part of the village that fought to get this dog to safety.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To everyone who pledged, shared, commented, tagged a rescue, sent a message, made a connection, or refused to let Kraven disappear: thank you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You helped save his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now we need your help giving him the life we fought so hard to save.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kraven has spent long enough carrying the physical reminder of what someone did to him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It’s time to help him heal. ❤️
</div>

<div>I’m creating this fundraiser during one of the hardest seasons of my life. A few months ago, I was illegally terminated from the UCLA DEI Office for speaking my mind about Charlie Kirk.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since then I have been implicitly blacklisted throughout the higher education industry, the field in which I've spent my career.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even with my background from top-UVA School of Law and my experience as in-house counsel at Harvard University, I’ve been applying for jobs every day and facing immediate rejection after rejection.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It has been disorienting and deeply painful to work so hard for a career and then suddenly struggle just to meet basic daily needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, I’m asking for help covering essential living expenses for the month of September, like rent, bills, groceries, transportation, and caring for my pets while I continue searching for work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This support will give me the stability to keep a roof over our heads, keep myself and my pets healthy, and make it through this period without falling further behind.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations will also help me continue my activism, working to free I.C.E. abductees and reunite families, without the constant fear of how I will pay for basic necessities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The fight for justice takes a village. Community is the greatest threat to the fascism we are seeing implemented throughout our nation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If the immigrants kidnapped by I.C.E. have to rely on the kindness of strangers, then I will too.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are able to give, share, or simply stand with me, your support would mean more than I can express.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for helping me stay housed, healthy, and able to keep fighting for others during this difficult time.
</div>

Waiting for Justice ⚖️

I'm raising funds for my fiancé, Hernan Garcia, and our family. Hernan and I have five children together, and he has always been our sole provider, a dedicated father, and someone who works hard for our family every day. Since he was brought to the United States from Mexico at 11 years old, the biggest challenge we have faced has been his immigration status.
<br>
<br>
 A few years ago, we took the step of hiring a lawyer, and Hernan applied for asylum. He did everything that was asked of him. He paid the required fees, went to every check-in, and attended every interview. On June 28, 2026, he went to his final USCIS interview in Tampa believing we were finally getting closer to living without fear of being separated. Instead, he was detained at that appointment.
<br>
<br>
 Hernan has now been held in immigration detention, including at Central Valley ICE Annex, and he is in removal proceedings with a court date set for September 8, 2026. We urgently need to hire a defensive immigration attorney before that date so there is enough time to gather evidence, prepare his case, and fight for the chance for him to stay with us.
<br>
<br>
 This has been devastating for me and our children. We miss Hernan deeply, and it has been extremely hard trying to manage without him here. At the same time, we are struggling financially because the person who supported our household is gone. I am planning on putting our youngest in daycare and finding a job to help support us until he comes home, but until then we really need help with our bills, legal fees, and attorney fees.
<br>
<br>
 We would never ask for donations if we did not truly need them. It is very hard for me to ask, but the need is desperate. Our children need their dad, and more than anything we need Hernan home with us.
<br>
<br>
 Your support will help us pay for legal and attorney fees, keep up with household bills while Hernan is detained, and cover expenses for our children. Any donation or share would mean so much to our family. We need to give an attorney enough time to gather evidence and prepare a plan before the September 8 court date, but support after that date will still help us make a down payment and continue paying attorney fees over time. Thank you for standing with us during this painful time.

<div><a href="https://wsvn.com/news/local/broward/crews-get-apartment-fire-under-control-in-weston-no-injuries-reported/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Community Fire on the Local News</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On the afternoon of July 21, a suspected electrical fire broke out on the roof of the apartment of Zach and his spouse, Alyssa, in Weston, FL. The fire is believed to have originated from a defective air-conditioning unit in their building before rapidly spreading and impacting multiple units.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As the fire unfolded and began to descend into the units below, Zach acted quickly to assist those around him evacuate safely. He made multiple trips into and out of the burning building to assist others, helping alert neighbors, assisting residents with evacuating, rescuing his two cats, and helping his elderly neighbor and her pets get to safety. The building lacked any meaningful fire suppression, or it had malfunctioned, as no fire alarms or sprinklers activated during the initial breakout.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During these efforts, Zach sustained moderate smoke inhalation injuries and was immediately transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he remains under medical care for carbon monoxide-related effects. Thankfully, he is expected to make a full recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tragically, Zach and Alyssa suffered the total loss of their apartment and nearly all of their personal belongings due to both direct fire exposure, water damage, or toxic fumes/substances. Three other families in the building also lost their homes as a result of the fire, leaving multiple households displaced and beginning the difficult process of rebuilding their lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The cause of the fire remains under investigation by Broward Sheriff's Office Fire Rescue and the Fire Marshal. At this time, officials have not determined the exact cause of the incident; however, the building has been condemned and deemed unsafe for further habitation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While the property damage is devastating, there is much to be grateful for. There were no human or animal fatalities, and Zach and Alyssa are incredibly thankful for the support they have already received from family, friends, neighbors, first responders, and the community, especially BSO Fire Rescue Station 67, the first paramedics to arrive on scene and treat Zach, and the ED Doctors and Nurses at Cleveland Clinic.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Zach and Alyssa, along with their two cats, are currently displaced from their home and are staying in a hotel provided by the American Red Cross for the remainder of the week. In the days ahead, they will be faced with finding temporary housing, replacing essential belongings, covering unexpected medical and personal expenses, and beginning the long process of rebuilding after losing nearly everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>If you are able, please consider making a donation, no matter the amount, to help ease some of the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.</strong> Every contribution will help Zach and Alyssa secure temporary housing, replace everyday necessities, care for their cats, and begin rebuilding their lives. If you're unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser with others is another meaningful way to support them. <strong>Please, in no way feel that financial donations are the only way to help. Consider pet food, cat litter, or other non-perishables and pet supplies. Please reach out for more information.</strong>

Support Zach & Alyssa Recover from Fire Loss

<div>
 On July 23, 2026, our dad, Anderson Infante, was detained by ICE during a traffic stop in Pompano Beach, Florida. During the stop, two officers asked him for proof of residency or U.S. citizenship. Dad repeatedly asked why he was being detained, struggling to understand what was happening, but they still did not give him a reason. The agents took his wallet to look for identification and instructed him to step out of the car and have someone pick up his keys. Confused and unable to understand everything being said, he was removed from the vehicle by force and against his will.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Our dad came to the United States eight years ago and has always been a hard-working, law-abiding citizen, but more importantly a loving husband, and devoted father of 3 daughters, and the provider and head of our household. Everything he has done has been to provide a better life for our family. He has always put us first, and now we are trying to do everything we can to be there for him.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 He is currently in ICE custody at the Miramar processing facility but we have very little information about where they plan top move him next. His wrongful arrest has left our family shocked, heartbroken, and uncertain about what to do next but we know time is of the essence.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We are now working to secure experienced immigration representation for my dad which is proving to be more expensive than we can afford. In addition to legal fees, we are carrying the financial responsibilities of maintaining our household while my dad is unable to be home with us.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 We created this fundraiser because we truly need our community’s support during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward:
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 * Immigration attorney fees.
</div>
<div>
 * Court and case-related expenses.
</div>
<div>
 * Household bills and essential living expenses.
</div>
<div>
 * Any additional costs related to my dad’s legal case.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 If you are unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser with your family, friends, and community would mean the world to us and helps us reach more people who may be able to support our family.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, prayers, and generosity. Every donation, every share, and every message of support gives our family hope as we fight to bring our dad home.

 My uncle Ricardo has called me "pichón" — little bird — my whole life. He's married to my aunt Maricarmen, my dad's older sister, and they're also our godparents. They've been married for more than 40 years. After my uncle was kidnapped in Venezuela, they fled to Mexico, where they claimed asylum and lived in Cancún for some years — then came to the U.S. legally, with a dream of retiring close to family. The U.S. government granted him protection because sending him back to Venezuela could get him killed.

 On October 31, at one of those routine check-ins, he was handcuffed and taken to the Krome Detention Center. He was 66. He has since turned 67 inside. <div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 In the nine months since, my uncle has been moved from detention center to detention center. He lives with pulmonary emphysema, and detention has broken his health down further — a heart attack in custody, hospitalizations more times than we can count, rushed out for emergency care and then brought right back. My aunt has spent nine months afraid to answer the phone. His story was covered by The Independent: <a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/ice-detention-florida-venezuela-heart-attack-b2869411.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><a href="https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/ice-detention-florida-venezuela-heart-attack-b2869411.html" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/ice-detention-florida-venezuela-heart-attack-b2869411.html</a></a>

</div>
<div>
 <strong>This week, we got the "final" word: he will be deported within the month — not to Venezuela, which the courts already agreed is too dangerous, but to a third country, most likely Mexico.</strong> And here is the hardest part: they don't know where home will be. They have no citizenship or residency in Mexico. My aunt is Argentinian, so Argentina may be where they try to build a life — a country where they know no one. Two people who have been married for more than 40 years don't know, today, what country they will grow old in.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>Deportations can happen with a single day's notice.</strong> When the call comes, my husband and I will get on a plane so that when my uncle lands, family is waiting for him — so he has a safe place to sleep that first night and isn't dropped off alone somewhere, sick, with no home to go to.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Nine months with no income, plus the legal fees, have taken everything they had. My aunt will follow him with Mili and whatever fits in a suitcase. After a lifetime of working and doing things the right way, they are starting over from nothing — at 67 and 69 years old.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Here's exactly what the money will go to:
</div>
<ul>
 <li>Housing deposit and about six months of rent while they get settled</li>
 <li>Setting up a home from zero</li>
 <li>Ricardo's medical care: new doctors, tests, and months of medication paid out of pocket</li>
 <li>My aunt's move, and getting Mili there safely</li>
 <li>Food, utilities, and daily costs while they find their footing</li>
 <li>A possible second move to Argentina, if that's where they can build a permanent life</li>
 <li>Emergency flights so family can be there the day he arrives</li>
</ul>

Help Ricardo and Maricarmen Start Over After Deportation

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi
</div>
<div>My name is Brad and i am looking for help for my dog Paulie. Paulie is a kill list survivor. He is my 3.5 yr old Staffordshire. I rescued him from a South Carolina shelter. He is a sweet dog and i feel so bad for him ......Although being tested negative for heartworm at the shelter, He has been tested positive with two tests just recently. It is believed by my Vet that he is likely to have been tested a false negative by the shelter, No fault to them as it can take up to 6 months to foster. I had him on a preventative so that is why my Vet feels the initial test was false negative.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The heartworm removal process is lengthy ,Tedious and painful which is why i am devastated to have to see Paulie endure it....But it must be done because it can mean an early death if not treated and i cannot bear the thought of losing him. He means everything to me. I live alone and he is support for me........ It is also costly and i was not prepared financially for this health risk. The estimate is approximately 3K dollars . Anything you can contribute would be appreciated beyond words. He really is my world.
</div>
<div>He is being treated by Countryside Animal Hospital in Hudson NH. I will be receiving form estimates very soon and i will post them in the appeal. Please help!

Support Paulie’s Heartworm Treatment Journey

<div>Hi everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but I’m doing it because my little boy deserves every chance at a happy, healthy life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is Milo. We adopted him because we wanted to give him the loving home he deserved, but the truth is, he’s the one who rescued me. He’s my best friend, my shadow, and one of the biggest sources of happiness in my life. Anyone who knows Milo knows how loving, funny and gentle he is. He has the sweetest soul, and seeing him poorly has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through. Over the last few weeks, Milo has become increasingly unwell. He’s been vomiting, struggling with symptoms that just wouldn’t go away, and we’ve spent so much time at the vets trying to find out what was wrong. We’ve already paid for emergency appointments, blood tests, scans, medication and investigations. I don’t regret spending a penny because he’s family, but it’s left us in a position where we’re struggling to afford what he now desperately needs. Milo has been diagnosed with BOAS (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome), and he’s been referred for surgery. Without it, he’ll continue to struggle, continue to be sick, and won’t get the chance to live the normal, happy life that every dog deserves. Knowing there’s a surgery that could change his life, but worrying about how to pay for it, is absolutely breaking my heart.
</div>
<div>The surgery costs £1,500, and I never thought I’d have to ask other people for help. I always believed we’d find a way ourselves, but after everything we’ve already spent, we just can’t do it alone.
</div>
<div>If you can donate anything at all, no matter how small, I honestly can’t tell you how grateful I’d be. Every single pound will go towards Milo’s surgery and helping him recover. If you aren’t able to donate, even sharing this fundraiser could help us reach someone who can.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All I want is for my little boy to be able to run, play, breathe properly and enjoy life without constantly being unwell. He deserves that chance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Thank you for caring about Milo. And thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for any support you can give us. All funds raised will be used for Milo's surgery and any further nights he may need in the hospital.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With love,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

Help Our Adopted Boy Milo Breathe and Live the Life He Deser

<div><strong>Barney and Maximus </strong>were just minutes away from the end of their lives at the <strong>Coachella Valley Animal Center</strong>. <strong>Redlisted and out of time, a true miracle happened at the last hour: a kind adopter from Georgia stepped forward to save them.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We <strong>rushed to get them safely out and brought them to a temporary boarding facility</strong> while we began coordinate the logistics of getting them across the country to Georgia.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But once they were out of the shelter environment, reality set in. <strong>Barney and Maximus are absolutely terrified</strong>. <strong>Because of the severe trauma and neglect they’ve experienced, their deep fear has turned into reactivity toward humans.</strong> As much as we want them to get to their new life, we cannot safely send them to their adopter the way they are right now. It is simply not safe for the adopter, and it isn't fair to the boys to set them up for failure when they are this shut down.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We refuse to give up on them after coming this far. <strong>The best—and only—chance we can give Barney and Maximus is professional, intensive rehabilitation.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Thanks to Angela Aidan from The Deserving Paws</strong>, we have been connected with an incredible professional trainer who can give these boys the specialized help they need to learn that the world can be safe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>The Reality of the Costs: </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li><strong>Immediate Boarding &amp; Medical care</strong>: Between now and their training date, the cost for their ongoing boarding, initial pickup, and neutering surgeries is <strong>$1,850.</strong>
</li>
<li><strong>Professional Board &amp; Train: </strong>The specialized training program opens up on June 1st. Because of the severity of their fear, this intensive rehabilitation will cost a minimum of<strong> $4,500.</strong>
</li>
<li><strong>Transport to Georgia: </strong>Once they are safely rehabilitated and cleared to travel, their secure transport across the country to their adopter will cost <strong>$1,600 </strong>for both boys.
</li>
<li><br />
</li>
</ul>
<div>We cannot bear this financial weight alone and <strong>Need Your Help to Give Them a Future.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>This is a staggering total, but it is the exact cost of their survival. This training is our only chance at giving them the rehabilitation they need!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Barney and Maximus survived the shelter's final deadline. Now, they just need to survive their own fear. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong></strong>Please, if you can, donate toward their training and care. <strong>Every single dollar brings these two terrified boys one step closer to healing.</strong>
</div>

Urgent Appeal: Help Barney and Maximus Overcome Their Fear

</div>
<div>
 Barney (A1951280) is a sweet 10-year-old Labrador mix who deserves the chance to finally experience the love and stability every dog should have.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Leaving the shelter was the first step toward his happy ending, but his journey isn't over yet. Since 2018, Barney has been in and out of animal control. Now, it's time to give him the fresh start he's waited so long for.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Our priority is making sure Barney is healthy before he begins the next chapter of his life. As soon as he left the shelter, he was examined by a private veterinarian. He received a full blood panel, and we're grateful that his lab work came back within normal limits.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 However, Barney still needs medical care.
</div>
<div>
 A cytology was performed on one of the lumps on his body, and the next step is to have it surgically removed.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 <strong>We can't provide the medical treatment Barney needs without your support.</strong> Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us give Barney the care he deserves and brings him one step closer to finding his forever home.
</div>
<div>
 Please consider donating and sharing Barney's story. Together, we can give this deserving senior the second chance he's been waiting for.

Help Barney Get the Care He Deserves

<div>
 I met a man named Terry in Fort White, FL today. He’s got COPD along with some other health issues that has limited his ability to work and make money. Terry is standing by the road while on oxygen with a sign that says “Please Help” so he can avoid getting behind on his electric bill when it comes due again. Terry is 68 years old, only receives $510 in social security every month and food stamps would only give him $6 per month. I created this GoFundMe to raise money for Mr.Terry so he doesn’t have to worry about standing by the road to collect money for his bills for awhile. All funds will go directly to him after the GoFundMe fees and I would show proof so you can track your donation. Thank you so much. - Kyle Green - Eyes Wide Open Media

 <strong>Mixie is just 1 year old and 11 pounds, and she is terrified in the shelter.</strong> Her fear causes her to show uncertain behavior and growl in her kennel, making it difficult for her to show the sweet dog we know she can become once she feels safe.

 Thankfully, Mixie now has a committed adopter waiting for her! ❤️ Her new family is ready to give her the time, patience, and safe home she needs.

 Help Kash Get the Surgery He Needs ❤️‍

<div>
 Hi, my name is Hayley, and I’m Kash’s mom. Kash is my 5 year old French Bulldog and truly one of the biggest parts of our family. If you’ve followed Kash online, you know him for his goofy personality, sweet little face, and the happiness he brings to so many people.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Today, we received some news at his vet appointment that I honestly wasn’t prepared for. We were told that Kash needs BOAS surgery to help improve his breathing, and he also has a hernia that needs to be surgically repaired.

 earing that he needs surgery is terrifying. I’ve heard so many stories about BOAS surgery in French Bulldogs, and the thought of putting him through it scares me more than I can explain. But ultimately, I want to do whatever gives Kash the best chance at breathing easier, feeling better, and living a long, happy life.

Support Hussein's Mission to Rescue Animals

I recently discovered an abandoned dog living on vacant land in my neighborhood. When I approached her, she seemed to be crying and was very scared. As someone with a toddler, I am unable to financially take on her care, but I couldn’t ignore her suffering. This fundraiser is my way of making sure she gets the help she needs and deserves.
<br>
<br>
 The funds raised will go directly toward her medical care, including checking for rabies and worms, and treating her injured leg. She also needs food now and in the future to help her recover and thrive. I want to give her a chance at a better life, rather than leaving her to struggle alone.
<br>
<br>
 Help and support would be greatly appreciated to help this poor dog have a better life. She deserves more than to be roaming around in the day &amp; night without care. Your kindness can make a real difference for her, and together we can give her hope and a fresh start.

Help an Abandoned Dog Get Medical Care

<div>Hi my name is Samuel Weidenhofer,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m fundraising for Les who is 83 years old and still working 4 days a week, at Loews, he is also a veteran. Heartbreakingly he’s looking to go full time as the bills just aren’t covering life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>He’s having to work to take care of his sick wife and pay back countless medical bills, that have just pilled up and he never thought he’d be in a position where he has to work full time at 84 years old to save his home so they have somewhere to live.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Les is one of a kind, and one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He helped me even though he was struggling, I’m hoping our community can come together and make his dream come true of retiring so he can spend the time he has left with his wife. After all that is what life is about, spending time with those you love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you to everyone who donates, shares or even leaves kind words on the video. Let’s RETIRE Les because no 83 year old should be forced to work..

Emergency Relief for Venezuela Earthquake Victims

<div>Matthew, known as “Rex” to many of his friends and subscribers, is my husband of 24 years and the father of our three young boys, ages 7, 2, and just 2 months old.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>10+ years ago, Matthew fought cancer and survived an extremely difficult treatment and recovery. Unfortunately, we have now received the news we hoped we would never hear again.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recent CT, PET, ultrasound imaging, and blood work have revealed a large 8.3 cm retroperitoneal mass involving the lymph nodes near his spine and major blood vessels, along with additional concerning findings. His tumor markers and the newest imaging now point very strongly to a recurrence of the same cancer he fought 10+ years ago. His doctors believe the evidence is sure enough that they do not want to lose additional time waiting for another biopsy before moving his case forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Matthew's oncologist in North Dakota immediately referred him to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota for specialized evaluation and treatment. Mayo contacted us on August 10 and was able to arrange appointments on extremely short notice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are now headed to Rochester.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We will be meeting with a surgeon to determine what options may be possible, as well as Mayo's medical oncology team to evaluate this case and begin developing a treatment plan.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are extremely thankful that this door opened so quickly, and our family is very hopeful about having his case evaluated by the specialists at Mayo. At the same time, we know that we are facing a serious and uncertain road ahead.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Matthew has already been dealing with significant pain, and keeping up with his normal workload is becoming increasingly difficult. He is our family's only income provider, while I stay home to care for and homeschool our children. We live on a small farm and are also in the middle of our first home addition to make enough room for our growing family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our greatest financial concern is making sure that our boys remain secure in their home and that our family can stay financially stable if Matthew becomes unable to work during treatment and recovery.
</div>
<div>Funds raised will first help protect our home and farm and provide stability for me and the boys. They will also help cover travel to Mayo Clinic, medical and treatment-related expenses, and the everyday costs of keeping our family going while Matthew focuses his remaining energy on getting through treatment and spending time with his boys.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Above everything, we are trusting Our Father in Heaven with what comes next and praying for Matthew's complete healing. We have already been overwhelmed by the prayers, encouragement, generosity, and love people have shown our family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We humbly ask for your prayers and, if you are able, your support. Every contribution helps give us all something incredibly valuable right now: the ability to concentrate on fighting this cancer instead of worrying about whether his family will be financially okay.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Bless you so much for helping our family. We are more grateful than we can possibly express.

Three Little Boys Need Their Dad - Please Help Rex's Family

Beaver’s Mini Mart has been a staple in Beavercreek, Ohio, serving the local community with care and dedication. The owner is a hardworking member of our town, always ready to lend a hand and provide a welcoming place for neighbors to gather. Now, the mini mart is facing an unexpected challenge that threatens its future.
<br />
<br />
 Bucc-ees, a large chain, has filed a lawsuit against Beaver’s Mini Mart, claiming that the store's cartoon beaver logo infringes on its trademark. Despite the fact that the two logos look nothing alike, the mini mart is being forced to defend itself in court. Legal fees are mounting, and the risk of losing this beloved local business is real. The mini mart needs our support to stand up against this big chain and protect what makes our community unique.
<br />
<br />
 We need your help to keep our small town community Beaver’s Mini Mart open. By donating, you are taking a stand with us to ensure that small mom and pop stores—like Beaver’s Mini Mart, the backbone of America—are not swallowed up by big businesses. Every contribution will go directly toward legal fees, helping the mini mart fight for its right to stay open and continue serving Beavercreek. Please join us in supporting this important cause and preserving the heart of our community.

 Today I met Bre &amp; Austin's family at Walmart.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 I asked if the money on the ground belonged to them. Even though they could have easily claimed it, they chose to tell the truth and said it wasn't theirs.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 To reward their honesty, we gave them $1,000.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 They broke down in tears as they shared their story.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Their daughter, Katie, has terminal brain cancer and has been given only a few months to live. <strong>The family has spent everything they had trying to save her, and the financial burden has been overwhelming.</strong> They're currently homeless and have lived in tents and hotels just trying to survive. <strong>The cost of treatment is hundreds of thousands of dollars, and they're desperately trying to keep fighting while searching for stable housing and shelter.</strong>
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 And yet, even in the middle of all that heartbreak, they still chose honesty.
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 A family like this shouldn't have to carry this burden alone. Let's rally around them to help Katie continue her fight against cancer and give this courageous family a safe place to call home.

<div>My name is Arianna, and I’m reaching out for help during a really difficult time. I recently lost my job because I said “Free Palestine.” I want to be clear that I wasn’t antagonizing anyone. I was simply exercising my freedom of speech. Unfortunately, this led to me being let go, and since then, it’s been a struggle to find new employment. Some places have misunderstood me, and I’m worried about being unfairly judged, which has made my job search even harder. I am raising these funds for myself, and all donations will be transferred directly to my personal bank account. They will help cover my basic needs like rent, utilities, groceries, transportation, and other living expenses while I continue searching for work. They will also help me support my family and continue working toward my goal of going to college. I hope to pay it forward by contributing a portion of my future earnings to support families in Palestine. Any help, no matter how small, would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering a donation or sharing my fundraiser.

RAICES

<div>last week we drove from Sunrise to Cape Coral twice to save a total of 12 labradors and 2 mixed breed dogs. The costs added up quickly. We found a rescue to take some of the dogs, but we kept the medical cases.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>most urgently, we need to cover more than basic vetting. We have a female lab who came to us blind, we have made an appointment for her to see a specialist. We have a ten year old yellow lab boy whose hips are so worn down he cannot sustain his own weight when he pees. He also has a severe double ear infection and double eye infection. He has sores all over his body and we are doing everything we can for this boy to have a healthy life for as many years or months as he has left.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>lastly, we have a yellow male Labrador with worrisome frequent urination issues and possible entropion. He will need to see a specialist urgently.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>on our way back from the second trip, we found a large shepherd mix dog on the road and brought him along to the rescue. We were not imagining this would happen but we couldn’t leave him. We were his only chance at safety. He has lacerations on his face and back but is a very sweet guy— thankfully!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>besides all of these medical issues, we also need to get blood work and spay/neuters done as soon as possible so these dogs don’t have to spend much longer at our shelter and can go on to enjoy lives in foster homes until they’re healthy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All these costs are unexpected, as we had just closed intake a few days before we went on this journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>if you are able to, please consider donating to our rescue. Any amount is extremely appreciated and we would be eternally grateful.

<div>Help Maggie &amp; Joe Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This past Monday, Maggie and Joe Mroczkowski of Knox County, Ohio, lost their home in a devastating house fire. While we are incredibly grateful that they are safe, they are now facing the unimaginable task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up — and we want to rally around them in this time of deep need.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you know Maggie, then you know what it means to be cared for. She is the heart of every room she enters — active in her church, always stepping up to help others, and lovingly referred to by many as “the unofficial mayor” of wherever she goes. Whether it’s offering a ride, a meal, or just a listening ear, Maggie is the kind of person who shows up for her people — and now, it’s time we show up for her.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Joe is a salt-of-the-earth kind of guy — a man of the land with a passion for tinkering, building, and dreaming up projects of all kinds. Many in the community may remember him from his days in the Boy Scouts of America or perhaps even from a local play where he charmed the audience with his wit and warmth.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Together, Maggie and Joe have raised 7 wonderful children and are the proud grandparents of 8 grandchildren. Their home was more than just a house — it was a gathering place, a haven, and a symbol of love that touched so many lives.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are reaching out to anyone who knows them — whether through church, community theater, scouts, or simply a shared cup of coffee — to help us help them. Funds raised will go directly toward essential needs, temporary housing, and beginning the long process of rebuilding.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>No amount is too small. Every donation, every share, and every word of support brings Maggie and Joe one step closer to stability and hope.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Let’s come together and return some of the love and kindness they’ve poured into this community for so many years.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for your generosity and prayers.

</div>

<div>❤️ With gratitude,

Help Maggie & Joe Rebuild After House Fire

<div>Well, folks, I got canned.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi! My name is Elise. You may have seen me here before! I’m a 40 year old disabled person living with autism, as well as Major Depressive Disorder, along with a grab-bag of other conditions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>(Turns out the company I took medical leave from was not exactly the company I came back to. I got the call half an hour after an email from my health care team asking for accommodations went through. Nothing suspicious there!)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While I'm waiting for my unemployment benefits to come through, (and I have no idea how long it will take them to get back to me, let alone give me those benefits,) I'm doing everything I can to get back on my feet. In the less than a week since I was fired, I've applied for said unemployment, medicare, and food stamps; I worked out a payment arrangement with my treatment resistant depression clinic, and I've lined up three job interviews for next week. I am hustling as hard as I can to find new work. (Could a lazy person do this, I ask you? like a Parks and Rec bit.)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In the meantime, I'm facing some urgent expenses that I can't cover alone. The funds raised here will help me pay for my living expenses, my cats' prescription diet food, my phone bill, car insurance, and pet insurance. My cats rely on a special diet to stay healthy, and keeping up with these bills is crucial for the three of us while I try and claw myself back to employment. Any employment I think I can feasibly handle. Even minimum wage employment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm throwing myself on the mercy of the internet, on my community, and on the kindness of strangers, for support to help bridge the gap until I can secure a new job and steady income. I don't think I can do this without help, or I wouldn't be asking. And any help you can offer would mean the world to me and my furry little guys.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>UPDATE July 17: I did not get a job that I was absolutely certain I had in the bag-- too much had aligned for me to think it was mere coincidence and I got bamboozled by the universe into believing it was Fate, or something stupid. I'm still job searching-- I was just hoping I was going to have better news for you all today. I'm sorry if I'm not more clear, I got the email two minutes ago and I'm reeling. I keep looking at it and I can't believe it-- they could have written this job for me.
</div>

Help Elise (and cats!) Survive Unemployment

<div>Dear friends and animal lovers,
</div>
<div>Rupert's life changed in an instant. A few days ago, he suddenly lost the use of his hind legs and is now paralyzed. The MRI and surgery he urgently needs could make the difference between permanent paralysis and the possibility of walking again. Right now, his future depends on whether we can get him the specialized care he needs in time. Your donation will help fund his MRI, surgery, and the rehabilitation that follows. It is more than a contribution toward medical expenses—it is a chance to give Rupert the opportunity to regain his independence, return to the beach he loves, and live the active life that was taken from him so suddenly. Every gift, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to that chance.
</div>

Help Rupert walk again!

<div>In Loving Memory of Nolan Xavier Wells
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our hearts are broken beyond words.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Nolan Xavier Wells was a beloved son, grandson, brother, friend and teammate whose life touched so many people. His smile, kind heart, and love for others left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After an extensive search involving countless volunteers from the United Cajun Navy, first responders, local law enforcement, the United States Coast Guard, and organizations from across the region , our worst fears became reality.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While no words can ease the pain of this unimaginable loss, we are deeply grateful for every person who searched, prayed, shared his story, and stood beside our family during these difficult days.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As we begin the painful journey of laying Nolan to rest, we are asking for help to ease the financial burden placed on our family. Funds raised will be used for funeral and memorial expenses, celebration of life services, and any additional costs associated with honoring Nolan's memory. We will also use these funds to investigate what happened to Nolan and how he died, to pursue legal and just consequences for Nolan's death, and to fight for transparency and justice in our pursuit of the truth. Any remaining funds will help us cover expenses while we take time away from work to grieve and navigate this painful loss, as well as treat and manage the mental and emotional anguish associated with Nolan's disappearance, his death, and all the unanswered questions surrounding his death.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are unable to donate, we ask that you continue to pray for our family and share this fundraiser. Your kindness, compassion, and support mean more than words can express. All money raised goes directly to the family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for standing with us, for loving Nolan, and for helping us honor a life that ended far too soon.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Forever loved. Forever remembered. Never Forgotten.
</div>

In Loving Memory of Nolan Xavier Wells

<div>Martha Ann Lillard was the last person in the United States to rely on an iron lung, a negative pressure respirator, after contracting polio for her fifth birthday the year before the polio vaccine was released. Since Covid, she had to use the iron lung full time, and the costs of supplies and medicine gradually depleted her savings. Now, her family faces unexpected probate and funeral expenses, and your support will help them honor Martha Ann’s legacy and provide her with the dignity she deserves.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div> Despite living with only 25% lung capacity, scoliosis, and a paralyzed right arm, Martha Ann spent her life as normally as possible. She was incredibly creative, painting, writing poems, and composing music for the left hand piano. Even as post-polio syndrome continued to affect her, she maintained a wonderful fighting attitude, making the most of what she had left and enjoying life as much as she could. Martha Ann also saved people and abandoned animals, especially dogs, all over the U.S., showing her compassion and resilience every day.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div> Your support will help cover Martha Ann’s funeral and probate costs, providing relief to her family and honoring her memory. Thank you for supporting Martha Ann’s legacy and helping her family during this difficult time. Any additional funds will go to feed the homeless in Shawnee and to beagle rescues.

Honoring Martha Ann Lillard’s Legacy

<div>Five Years of Second Chances

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>On July 5, 2026, Layla’s Heart Ranch &amp; Rescue will celebrate five years of saving lives.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Five years ago, this rescue started with a dream.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>A dream that no animal should be discarded simply because they were old, scared, sick, misunderstood, or inconvenient.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Since then, that dream has become a sanctuary.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Over the past five years, Layla’s Heart Ranch &amp; Rescue has rescued animals from shelters, cruelty situations, abandonment, neglect, owner surrenders, and heartbreaking circumstances. We have opened our hearts and our home to animals that many others had given up on.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Today, our ranch is home to dogs, horses, poultry, and other animals who depend on us every single day.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Many of them will spend the rest of their lives here.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And we wouldn’t have it any other way.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>But today, we are facing one of the most difficult periods in our history.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Animal rescue has changed.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Donations have declined.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Expenses continue to rise.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And the animals still need the same level of care they always have.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>In the last week alone, we faced more than $5,000 in unexpected veterinary expenses.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>King required emergency veterinary care and surgery for a mass in his ear.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Just days later, Picante underwent surgery to remove two masses. One was a fatty growth, but the other was described by our veterinarian as one of the nastiest masses they had seen. We are currently waiting for biopsy results and praying for good news.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Together, those two medical emergencies cost more than $5,000.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Like we always do, we said yes.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Because when one of our animals needs help, there is never a question.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We provide the best veterinary care possible.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every time.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>No matter how difficult it is financially.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>But these expenses have left us with only a few hundred dollars remaining in our account.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We have already made the difficult decision to stop taking in new dogs because we knew we had reached our limits. Yet the animals already here still need food, veterinary care, housing, maintenance, fencing, utilities, medications, and daily care.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>They still need us.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And right now, we need you.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Why We Are Raising $100,000

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This campaign is not about one dog.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>It is not about one emergency.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>It is about protecting the future of Layla’s Heart Ranch &amp; Rescue.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This funding will help provide:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Veterinary care and emergency medical treatment

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Food and daily care for sanctuary animals

</div>

</div>

<div> Property maintenance and infrastructure

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Fencing and safety improvements

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Emergency reserves for future medical crises

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div> Long-term sustainability for the rescue

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>For five years, we have given everything we have to this mission.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We have sacrificed financially.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We have sacrificed personally.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We have poured our hearts into building a sanctuary from raw land because we believe every animal deserves a second chance.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Now we are asking for help protecting what has been built.

</div>

Five Years of Second Chances: Help Us Continue Saving Lives

Davey Hearn, a celebrated Olympian, is facing an unexpected and challenging situation. Recently, he was falsely accused of vandalizing the DC reflecting pool, a charge that has shaken both him and those who know his character and dedication. Davey has always represented his community and country with integrity, and these accusations are not only unfounded but threaten to undermine years of hard work and service.
<br>
<br>
 The legal battle ahead is daunting, with significant fees and expenses required to defend Davey and clear his name. Your support will directly help cover these costs, ensuring that Davey has the resources he needs to fight for justice. By contributing, you are standing up for fairness and supporting someone who has given so much to others.
<br>
<br>
 Please help Davey and others being illegally prosecuted for political reasons. Your generosity will make a real difference in this fight, and together, we can help restore hope and justice for Davey and those facing similar challenges.

Justice for Olympian Davey Hearn (Olympian David Hearn)

My brother has always been a dedicated truck driver, delivering merchandise to different store fronts and working hard to support his family. Recently, he faced an unexpected crisis when his work truck short circuited, causing a fire that destroyed both the truck and all the inventory inside. While insurance is covering the cost of the truck, the inventory loss is not included, leaving him in a very difficult position. The company he works for has a policy that makes him personally responsible for the lost inventory, and now he must either pay for it or resign from his job.
<br>
<br>
 Despite the overwhelming circumstances, my brother has already scraped together his savings and even given up a month's salary to start repaying the debt. However, the amount needed is still more than he can manage alone. This fundraiser is to help him cover the remaining cost of the lost inventory so he can keep his job and continue supporting his family.
<br>
<br>
 I am so grateful for anyone who can help my brother during this challenging time. He is an extremely hard working family man, and your support—whether through a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser—means the world to us. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.

</div>
<div>At 2:45 AM yesterday morning we woke to the sound of heavy bombing.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lebanon cannot survive another crisis. We are still recovering from the last war, and now we face another devastating escalation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our country is exhausted.
</div>
<div>Our people are exhausted.
</div>
<div>And the animals — the most vulnerable — are once again in grave danger.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Strikes have hit Beirut, Bekaa, the South, and other areas. Over 50 villages received evacuation warnings.
</div>
<div>Dozens killed. Hundreds injured. Tens of thousands displaced.
</div>
<div>The numbers are still rising.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Families are fleeing in chaos. Many were forced to leave without their pets.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now there are:
</div>
<div>• Pets trapped in empty homes
</div>
<div>• Injured animals on the streets
</div>
<div>• Homeless cats and dogs
</div>
<div>• Wildlife affected
</div>
<div>• Farm animals without care
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are already responding. The calls for help have begun. But resources are limited and needs are overwhelming.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donation will help provide:
</div>
<div>Emergency veterinary care
</div>
<div>Rescue missions for pets left behind
</div>
<div>Transport for stranded animals
</div>
<div>Food, cages &amp; medicine
</div>
<div>Support for families fleeing with pets

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, more than ever, we need our community — locally and internationally — to stand with us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Lebanon is tired. We are tired.
</div>
<div>But we will not stop helping.

<div>Our vet Rafa brought us Meatball not long ago -- he's a hairless Mexican Xolo puppy who was not doing well in his last home and was being mistreated by other dogs + puppies there -- and Rafa knew we'd take incredible care of him. &lt;3

<div>****
</div>
<div>Dear friends,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here's the TL;DR
</div>
<ul>
<li>We're raising money to rescue animals!
</li>
<li>We have a healing retreat/center/institute and animal sanctuary in Joshua Tree, CA
</li>
<li>We have over 100 rescued animals including a zebra (!), emus, mini-horses, mini-cows, peacocks, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, tortoises, and so many more…
</li>
<li>You can come for a stay, a tour, a retreat, or an animal healing session.
</li>
<li>We are now officially a tax deductible non-profit, and we'd love your support.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And here's the longer version:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For the past few years we've been busy building Kaleidoscope Desert, a sanctuary for both humans and animals in Joshua Tree, California.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>When the pandemic hit in 2020, the winds that blew people out of their ordinary lives and into the unknown sent us from Brooklyn, NY – where you probably knew us as political activists, startup founders, journalists, humanitarian aid workers, and artists – to the tiny California desert town of Morongo Valley, a sublime valley not far from Joshua Tree National Park.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>First we started rescuing dogs, as we had done extensive dog rescue in New York City – and along the way we found other animals in need of a safe place to live and be loved. We started saying yes to them all, and now have over 100 rescued and rehomed animals on our 5-acre ranch. None of this was planned!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Then we invited friends to create spectacular works on the property, and invited people to come experience the ranch for themselves. To date we’ve hosted political leaders, academics, artists, inventors, and the rest of us :)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our furry and feathered friends – including a zebra (!!), curious emus, persistent goats, meandering piggies, free-range mini horses, voracious mini-cows, ridiculous chickens, mouthy ducks and many more – welcome our visitors with open wings to their home amidst the breathtaking desert landscapes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kaleidoscope Desert is our garden of eden. Help us save more animals by supporting this project.
</div>
<div><br />

Help Save Animals at Kaleidoscope Desert

<p>My name is Rig, I'm and known as USArmyOverLord on social media. Recent events have rendered my cashapp and many of my social media sites unusable. I need financial help to still be able to support my family while I continue the fight against racism and fascism. These times call of ordinary people to make extraordinary acts of courage and resistance. Every dollar of your support keeps me in this fight. And remember whether it takes 10 months or 10 years, we must be absolutely relentless in our fight against white supremacy.

<div>Hi, my name is Debbie Davies and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend, Rosie Turner, who is the founder of Desperate Dogs Of Azerbaijan (DDA)
</div>
<div>Rosie is a Canadian citizen who arrived in Azerbaijan five years ago for work.
</div>
<div>As an animal lover, Rosie was immediately shocked by the treatment of stray dogs and cats. They are regularly culled from the streets by methods which are far from humane and Rosie could not just ignore their plight.
</div>
<div>Rosie started by rescuing a few dogs &amp; cats and placing them in foster care but soon realised that this was not sustainable with the number of animals needing help.
</div>
<div>We managed to rent some land and now have 185 dogs and 29 cats at our main DDA shelter on the outskirts of Baku which is funded solely by donations.
</div>
<div>Rosie was recently alerted to the plight of a dog in city several miles from Baku where there had been a mass cull of stray dogs. The poor soul was clearly in a very bad way but fortunately Rosie managed to find him and rushed him
</div>
<div>straight to the vet.
</div>
<div>X-Rays showed that this poor soul had six bullets in his body as well as suffering from Leishmaniosis which is a very severe skin disease.
</div>
<div>Sadly, it is too risky to try and remove the bullets but this brave boy is currently receiving treatment in intensive care and has a very strong will to live. He is already eating and trying to move around and we have named him Melchior.
</div>
<div>We remain positive about Melchior’s recovery but it will be long and slow and he will not be strong enough to go to our shelter for quite some time.
</div>
<div>It costs £16 per day for intensive care plus medication and we desperately need more funds to know that we can continue to care for him.
</div>
<div>it is a miracle that this dear boy is alive and he really deserves a chance, we cannot fail him.
</div>
<div>Please, please share this GoFundMe as much as possible to help keep Melchior safe.
</div>
<div>Thank you for your support
</div>
