Support Paul: Our Hill Guardian Needs Us

On May 27th, our dear friend and community member Paul, a 73-year-old Hill Ambassador, was senselessly attacked while doing what he has always done—serving and uplifting the people of The Hill.

Paul is a familiar and beloved face to everyone who lives, works, or visits The Hill. With his warm smile, kind words, and unwavering dedication, he’s been a guardian of our streets, a friend to the community, and a symbol of compassion. Whether helping our unhoused community, offering directions, or simply brightening someone’s day with a heartfelt greeting, Paul has given so much to this neighborhood.

Now, it’s our turn to give back.

Paul is currently recovering from his injuries, and while his spirit remains strong, the road ahead will involve medical care, time away from work, and unexpected expenses. We are launching this GoFundMe to support Paul during his recovery—helping with medical bills, basic living expenses, and anything he may need to heal in comfort and peace.

Every dollar counts, and every share helps us reach others who know and love Paul. Let’s rally around the man who has always been there for us and show him the strength of the community he’s helped build.
