UPDATE: Paul’s wife Karen has now been added as the beneficiary of this fundraiser so the funds raised can go directly toward supporting Paul and his family during treatment.

Paul Colligan (Coggy to his mates) is a self employed electrical technician and is currently working on the Urenco site at Capenhurst.

Paul has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive Glioblastoma grade 4 brain cancer.

This has all happened so quickly and Paul and his family are in total shock.

He has recently undergone a craniotomy to remove the tumour which was pressing on his brain and is being cared for by the excellent team of nurses and surgeons at The Walton Neurological centre in Liverpool.

Coggy will have to undergo chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments at Clatterbridge and will mean he will be unable to return to work.

Coggy has many friends and colleagues having worked in various industries as an electrician in the UK and abroad over the years.

We want to financially support Coggy and his family through this time and want everyone who knows Paul to be aware of his illness.
