I’ve been best friends with Patrisha for over 20 years. Patrisha is the kind of person who always helps others but never asks for help herself—even when she needs it most. Now, she and her family are facing a truly difficult time, and I want to rally support for them.
Over the past few months, Patrisha’s family has faced a series of financial, medical, and essential emergencies. Living in a small community with limited resources has made things even harder. Patrisha, a devoted mom of five (with two children still at home) who she stays home with, recently had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands after years of pain and numbness. The surgery was necessary to prevent her from losing all strength in her hands, but it’s left her unable to work or even care for her youngest son without help.
To make matters worse, her fiancé lost his job after being unfairly treated by his last employer, leaving the family without a steady income. Despite his efforts to find new work and apply for unemployment, they’ve faced repeated setbacks and rejections.
Now, they are struggling to keep up with monthly bills, medical expenses, and essentials for their children and pets. They’re at risk of losing their utilities, phones, vehicles, and insurance—things that are vital for getting to doctor appointments, job interviews, and caring for their kids. Their 2-year-old son has outgrown many of his things, and they simply can’t afford to replace them right now.
It’s not easy for Patrisha to accept help, but the situation has become overwhelming. If you’d like to help in other ways or have questions about supporting Patrisha’s family, please feel free to reach out through this page.
Any support—whether it’s donating or sharing this fundraiser—means so much. Thank you and God bless you all.
