My name is Joshua Choi and I am currently a freshman in high school. On July 24th, I traveled to Yucatán, Mexico, with my church on a mission trip to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ with the local children there. We met with Pastor Kyle Wilson, a local missionary in Yucatán for over 15 years, who has founded CENEA ( a Christian school) to offer education to children who cannot afford it. Pastor Kyle provides full scholarships to these children, ensuring they receive a high-quality education.
During my time at the school, I observed that despite their challenging circumstances the children were joyful and content because they knew Jesus and His love for them. Their spirit and faith deeply moved me, and I felt compelled to offer financial support to further help these kids. Through Pastor Kyle, I learned that some of the children of Yucatán are not able to afford the school supplies and school uniforms required to attend school. So, I have made it my mission to raise $5000 to help provide things like pencils, notebooks, backpacks, and uniforms to help the children. Just $40 can provide a child with a uniform and school materials. With your support, prayer, and God’s grace, we can bring even more joy and love to these children and help them thrive in life and with God. If you cannot donate at this time I ask that you join with me in prayer for Pastor Kyle and his ministries and most importantly the children of Yucatán. Thank you so much for your support!
