Please Support Passion-Driven Arts Programs- Moonlight NYC

Moonlight Productions NYC is a non-profit organization serving the community of Staten Island, NY. Our mission is to use theatre and creative arts to enhance the lives of underserved communities, including senior citizens, individuals living with disabilities, substance use disorder, and at-risk youth.

Right now, we are immersed in the senior community with one of our main programs being the Staten Island Senior Acting Troupe. The troupe is comprised of over 20 individuals ranging in age from 63-90. The troupe meets every week (more during show times) and performs several times throughout the year, not only providing entertainment but also inspiration for their peers who want to be involved but never quite knew how or thought it was too late.

Moonlight welcomes EVERYONE! They meet you where you’re at and help you flourish creatively and personally.

We have been lucky enough to receive a small grant each of the past three years to help us supplement our fall production, but unfortunately, that is not enough to keep us going. Being a member of the troupe is free of cost to the participants, and we will always keep it that way.

That is why we humbly ask for your help in funding The Senior Acting Troupe and the other programs that Moonlight NYC want to launch.

The funds will go towards space rentals to allow us to have our meetings and performances, supplies, travel, small stipends for the teaching artists who work countless hours because of the love they have for the group, stipends for the cast, and any other production costs or administrative costs that may come up.

Every dollar matters!!! We are an organization that started with zero dollars in our bank account but passion in our hearts. We want to be able to keep working in the community, but we can’t do it alone.
