The street vendor community in Pasadena, CA has been a vital part of the city for many years, working tirelessly to provide food, goods, and a sense of culture to the neighborhoods they serve. These vendors, many of whom are immigrants, have faced significant challenges—most recently the Eaton Fire in January, which disrupted their ability to work and caused major losses. On top of that, ongoing city raids have made it even harder for them to earn a living and support their families.
Despite these hardships, the street vendors continue to show resilience and dedication, hustling every day to keep their businesses going and to serve the people of Pasadena. The community relies on their presence, not just for the food and products they offer, but for the spirit and diversity they bring to the city. Now, as they face lost income and increased pressure, they need our support more than ever.
Funds raised will go directly to helping the street vendors recover from recent setbacks, covering lost income and helping them get back on their feet. By coming together to support them, we can help ensure that this hardworking community continues to thrive and enrich Pasadena for years to come.
