Hello, my name is Parker Miles. I am raising funds for my Eagle Scout Project to benefit Willow Glen United Methodist Church in San Jose by rebuilding the church’s title sign, which was damaged by harsh weather and vandalism.

The sign has deteriorated significantly and requires a full restoration. My project will involve replacing the sign with new supports, a new roof for weather protection, and a sturdy base to ensure its longevity. I will also be converting the sign into an information center, where church members can easily pick up information for events and more.

Alongside the new sign, I’ll be refurbishing the surrounding garden bed, as it has become overgrown and needs maintenance. Both that garden bed, and surrounding area will help absorb moisture in order to prevent rust in the supports allowing the sign to last longer.
