Support our efforts to reform the Palos Verdes Homes Association (PVHA) and restore elections that actually count.
For 17 consecutive years, PVHA has failed to hold a single valid Board election because its 50% quorum requirement has never been met — even though thousands of member votes have been cast. In 2025, I filed a lawsuit under California Corporations Code § 7515 asking the Court to review PVHA's election process and reduce the quorum requirement so that member votes finally have an effect.
I have been handling this case myself, without an attorney, for the past year and a half. The case is now in its final stages: public testimony hearings were held July 29 and August 5, 2026, with closing arguments and a ruling scheduled for August 19, 2026.
Funds contributed here go toward:
Court reporter and hearing transcript fees
Filing and administrative costs
Legal assistance, if needed, as the case reaches its final stages
This effort has only gotten as far as it has because of overwhelming community support — hundreds of PVHA members have submitted signed declarations, and dozens have spoken directly to the Court in support of reform. Every contribution, big or small, helps carry this across the finish line.
Thank you for standing with us.
