Support Palisades Preschool Families

As a teacher in the Palisades, I am hoping that this GoFundMe can not only help families in my classroom rebuild their lives but also connect resources between those in need and those eager to help.

On Tuesday around 11 am, faculty and staff were forced to evacuate students safely from the school to be picked up at the fire station and then further down to the beach at a parking lot. Many families were panicked, traveling on foot with nothing but a duffel bag and hopes that their homes would be spared in the horrific Palisades fires. By the grace of God, my students are safe and with their families; however, the fate of their homes is grim if not already determined gone.

As the families try to make sense of the loss of their entire community, please consider making their lives slightly easier by providing supplies for their little ones - books, toys, clothes, diapers, and meals. I will be putting together care packages to be dropped off at the places they are currently seeking refuge. With so many logistics needed to be worked through, a care package to keep their children occupied will go a long way.
