Help Me Bring Healthcare to Rural Communities in the Philippines

Hi! My name is Paige, and I’m a rising junior at Clemson University on track to graduate this December. I’m passionate about health and service—and I’m excited to share that I’ve been accepted to volunteer with the Healthcare Project in Palawan, Philippines for two weeks after graduation!

In many parts of Palawan, access to healthcare is limited or completely unavailable. Through this volunteer program, I’ll have the opportunity to help bridge that gap by supporting rural clinics and participating in community outreach projects. My work will include assisting with basic medical tasks, educating local communities on hygiene and first aid, and supporting nutrition and wellness programs.

This project isn’t just about treating illness—it’s about empowering communities with the knowledge and support they need to lead healthier lives. Whether I’m helping with routine check-ups or teaching kids how to properly wash their hands, every action counts.

All funds raised will go toward:

Program fees and housing

Flights and travel insurance

Medical supplies for outreach clinics

Visa and administrative costs
