Despite numerous setbacks, including system glitches that twice resulted in their donations being refunded, these men persevered. Their final successful contribution was a testament to their dedication to making a positive impact, even from within prison walls. This endeavor continues a long-standing tradition at FCI Atlanta where incarcerated men have engaged in philanthropy dating back to the 1940s.
