My name is Oystian Sinclair and I am Jamaican born American living in Seattle WA. As you are aware, Hurricane Melissa wrecked my home country recently, leaving nothing but destruction.

My family was not spared from such devastation. Yes, my family is alive and for that I'm most grateful but our home is completely destroyed and we are in need of a new home. My mom, my brother and sisters all shared the family home. Now they are homeless!!!

My family home was located in the fishing community of Alligator Pond. This is located on the mid south side of the island.

This is why I'm here today. I'm seeking your help to help rebuild our family home. We have no other choice but to rebuild the home from scratch.

There is no amount that is too great or small.

At this point in time, there is also no water, no electricity and the roadways partially reopened.

My family and I are forever grateful for your generosity.
