Support Oxford's Vital Non-profits
Donation protected
Our town of Oxford has a very tight budget. Yet we have so many projects to complete, flooding problems to solve, and infrastructure to update. We must build up our capital fund to do so. THESE ARE THE TASKS TOWN GOVERNMENT SHOULD FUND WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS.
We also have some very important non-profits that the town has donated to in the past: the Oxford Community Center, the Oxford Museum, the Oxford Library, the July 4th Fireworks Celebration, the Doug Hanks Restoration Fund, the Gordon Graves Scholarship, the Oxford Business Association, and the Talbot Arts Council. These donations have been cut in order to address flooding, infrastructure, and other important projects which government should fund.
Since we value these non-profits and wish to join together in UNITY with fellow citizens who wish to donate to make with OUR DONATION through this FUNDRAISING DRIVE for $32,000 or more. In that way, the town can do what it is obligated to do to build up our capital fund while the non-profits can also get the donations they are used to.
We ask for your help with ANY DONATION you can give.
