As many of you have seen, the Outreach Thrift Store experienced a major fire Tuesday night. For 38 years, Outreach has proudly served Gainesville and supported local organizations like First United Methodist, Meridian, House of Hope, Peaceful Paths, and many others. The team is committed to reopening and continuing that service to the community. While the business does have insurance, it unfortunately does not cover lost wages for employees. This fire has left 10 hardworking individuals suddenly without jobs and income. These are people who depend on their paychecks to support themselves and their families, and they are now facing unexpected financial hardship.

We are asking our community to come together and support them during this difficult time. Donations will go directly toward helping these employees cover essential needs like rent, utilities, and food as they navigate what comes next.
