The OurPlanet.Rocks competition was created by Griffin, Jiaxi, and Salma to empower high school and university students from around the world to tackle the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Unlike traditional hackathons focused solely on software engineering, OurPlanet.Rocks bridges the gap for students who want to make a difference through business plans, campaigns, and technical solutions. Over three days, from August 7th to 9th, participants will collaborate, innovate, and pitch their ideas to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

As the event approaches, Griffin and the OurPlanet.Rocks team are raising funds to support the winners of the business, non-profit, and technical solution tracks. These young innovators will need support to turn their ideas into real-world impact after the hackathon. Funds raised will help them build prototypes, launch campaigns, and cover essential startup costs. This will give them the resources to move from inspiration to action.
