Help Our Youth Serve in Rural Tennessee!
This summer, a group of high school students and adult volunteers from Apex, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina ("APEX United") will embark on a life-changing mission trip to Mountain T.O.P. (Tennessee Outreach Project) — a 50-year-old Christian ministry devoted to meeting the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs of families in rural Southeastern Tennessee.
️ What We’ll Be Doing:
From July 5–12, 2025, our team will serve through Mountain T.O.P.’s Youth Service Mission, where we’ll be assigned to home improvement projects — including yard work, painting, cleaning, and light construction — for families in need. Each of our students will join a diverse group of youth from across the country, working side-by-side to build, serve, and grow.
⛪ Why It Matters:
This trip isn’t just about home repairs — it’s about community, compassion, and transformation. Our youth will step outside their comfort zones, connect with peers from different backgrounds, and experience firsthand what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ.
How You Can Help:
We're looking to raise $4000 to cover the following expenses:
- $1,500 - The cost for each student to attend is $650. Some of our youth require partial scholarships to attend.
- $1,500 - We need to rent a 15-passenger van + fuel.
- $500 - Tools, equipment - we need to bring tools and some building supplies.
- $500 - Lodging and meals to and from Mountain T.O.P. - We need to stay at a hotel the night before we pull into camp.
