Support Our Youth Carnival & Community Festival!

This year, we’re reaching out to you – our community, friends, family, and supporters – to help keep a vibrant tradition alive and give our young people the opportunity they deserve.

We are a dedicated group working with local youth to create something powerful: a space where they can express themselves, stay connected to culture, and take pride in what they build together. Carnival is more than just costumes and music – it's about community, identity, creativity, and joy.

Every year, our group takes part in carnival and works hard to design and showcase their own costumes. But this year, we haven’t received any funding to make it happen. That’s why we’re asking for your help.

With your support, we can:

Keep young people engaged in positive, creative, and meaningful activities

Design and produce beautiful costumes that celebrate our culture and talent

Host our own community festival, giving our youth a platform to shine and perform

Cover essential costs like materials, transport, venue hire,stage and music hire, insurance, workshops etc

This isn’t just about one event – it’s about building confidence, skills, and belonging. Many of the young people involved face challenges in their everyday lives. Being part of this project gives them something to look forward to, work towards, and feel proud of.
