My mom has stage 4 terminal cancer and very sadly doesn’t have much longer here with us. Her prognosis is less than a year, and I have been warned it will most likely be much less with how aggressive her cancer is. My fiancé and I were planning on a wedding spring of 2027 to allot us enough time to save and responsibly pay for a wedding. Given the circumstances, we are trying desperately to move the wedding sooner to ensure my mom can be there. The goal now is to have the wedding in early March (2026), and with medical expenses already incurred and more to come, my fiancé and I have no money to allot toward a wedding at this time. We will need wedding attire, a venue, catering, a photographer/videographer, and a small budget for decor and floral. Any excess $$$ raised will go toward long-term care for my mother who is paralyzed in her right arm and can no longer walk or use the restroom on her own.
