Support Our Sudanese Family

Tassilo and Leni met in Sudan, where they also built an incredible network of Sudanese friends who became like family.

Especially dear to them are their Sudanese brothers: Khider, Ahmed (Dafi), and Mulham, who made them feel at home in Khartoum, and were always there for them.

In February 2023, these incredible guys went all in for Leni and Tassilo to have a traditional Sudanese wedding ceremony (Jerteik).

In retrospect, this was one of the last joyful moments in Susan’s capital before conflict erupted in the middle of April.

Now, all three of them - along with millions of Sudanese - have had to flee their homes to escape the violence.

Our dear brothers are now trying to help

rebuild their lives in different countries, while supporting their own families.

The only thing Tassilo and Leni want as a gift for their wedding and to celebrate their union is to support them, the way they supported us.
